POKOTABI / Sosaku Dining Rin
創作ダイニング 凛
Located near Omori Station, Sosaku Dining Rin offers satisfying daytime set meals like chicken nanban and Sichuan-peppercorn chicken, transitioning at night into an izakaya with plates paired with selected sake like Hiroki.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
When hunger calls at midday, a lunch menu stacked with substantial mains is always welcome. At Sosaku Dining Rin, the lunch hour revolves around generous meat options, ranging from the staple chicken nanban set to spiced poultry creations such as numbing Sichuan-peppercorn chicken and spicy red chicken, alongside saikyo-miso-marinated pork loin and Japanese-style hamburg steak. Seafood choices also take center stage, including the Uwajima-style sea bream rice set—where diners top steamed rice with raw sea bream sashimi coated in dashi soy sauce and fresh egg—as well as yuan-style grilled Spanish mackerel and a combo of deep-fried oysters and horse mackerel.
As dusk settles, the restaurant transitions into an izakaya, leaning into a thoughtful spread of small dishes tailored to accompany drinks. The drink list highlights distinguished Fukushima sake labels like Hiroki, Hirotogawa, and Gakki Masamune, alongside wine, beer, and cocktails. On the tables, wooden toys provided to summon staff lend a playful, disarming touch to evening conversations.
Perched on the 4th floor of a building close to Omori Station, the space includes a mezzanine and loft-style private dining nooks, making it handy for casual drinks with friends or gatherings after work. Reservations are accepted, suited for those planning a relaxed evening around a banquet course complete with an all-you-can-drink option.
